Both the Bible and the Quran talk about how we will change our qualities from selfishness to love of others. We will leave the family of selfishness behind and become a part of the family of love of others.

others is the truth and the quality of selfishness is falsehood

believe, if you obey the disbelievers, they will make you revert to your old
ways and you will turn into losers."
(Quran 3:149) Meaning once you
are in the quality of love of others, do not fall back to the quality of
selfishness

Meaning be in the quality of love of

"I speak what I have seen with My Father, and
you do what you have seen with your father." (John 8:38, NKJV) This compares the quality of selfishness
to the quality of love of others.
"And you shall know the truth, and the truth
shall make you free." (John 8:32, NKJV) The quality of love of others will make you free from the quality of
selfishness.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born
again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God.” (John 3:3, NKJV) Meaning
you have to be born again from the quality of selfishness into the quality of
love of others
