The Role of Women in Society Has To Change

The role of women in society has to change. Women have to change from selfishness to concern for others, seeking to benefit others instead of themselves.

Women comprise over 50% of the world's population, yet their contribution to the well-being of the world has yet to be seen. Women have yet to realize their true potential.

In front of God, men and women are equal, yet there are obvious differences between men and women, especially when it comes to family matters and children.

With growing consumerism and the rising cost of living, both parents now work in order to sustain a certain standard of living. Women left the home to work, to seek greater fulfillment, status, and new experiences, trying to live up to their full potential.

However, due to the lack of continuous parental care, the lack of basic lessons on etiquette and ethics, the lack of their mother's nurturing influence, children have grown up without the appropriate parental supervision. The children, the family and society have suffered as a result.

Women's role in the family was also greatly undervalued and underappreciated, which is why many women left the home, unaware of the impact it would have.

Today it's become clear that women's role in the family is a key component for raising healthy children, having a healthy family and maintain a healthy society.

Society as a whole needs to change the way it views 'moms', 'stay-at-home-mothers' and 'housewives'. The role typically has a negative connotation. However, women's role in the home needs to be seen, valued and appreciated as one of the most important roles in the world.

While women, especially mothers, have natural nurturing instincts, today it's still rooted in selfishness because mothers protect their own children, not the children of others.

If women change their qualities from selfishness to concern for others, and seek to benefit others instead of themselves, women can use their natural nurturing instincts to take care of the whole world. The whole world is one family.

Women need to:
1. Accept that they are a powerful force with true potential to change the whole world
2. Use their natural nurturing instincts to look after the whole world
3. Understand they have a big positive influence on their men and on their children
4. See themselves as teachers and guides in the home
5. Set examples for their children on how to benefit other
6. Teach their children how to benefit others
7. Support the lessons their children learn at school on how to benefit others
8. Understand that how they raise their children affects the whole world
9. Teach their children skills around the home, so they can use them to benefit others

Women need to change from selfishness to love of others, and use their natural nurturing instincts to benefit the whole world.
