What Does It Mean To Benefit Others?

We're returning to God in quality, which means we're leaving the quality of selfishness and returning to the quality of bestowal. We'll seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

What does it mean to benefit others?

Right now we think only of ourselves, seeking only to benefit ourselves. Benefiting others means you stop thinking of yourself and you start thinking of others.

You have to come out of yourself and live in the needs and desires of the people around you.

It doesn't mean you seek to make others happy because there are many destructive things that make people 'happy'.

Rather, you seek to benefit them. What you do for others has to contribute to their well-being. It has to be good for them. As a result they will be happy.

When everyone seeks to benefit others, we'll be united in mutual responsibility where everyone is looking after everyone.

This will bring us together in mutual concern for one another. After all, we are one family.
