Here are a few notes:
- Believing in God when it's not obvious that He exists takes a certain kind of faith. Jesus addressed this when He said, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." (John 20:29, NIV)
- This is called a leap of faith, best explained by Indiana Jones and the last crusade

- If you don't understand what you see, don't let it ruin your chances of having a relationship with God, meaning don't let it turn you away from God.
- If you don't understand what you see, don't influence others to turn away from God, don't jeopardize their chances of having a relationship with God.
- Think of a jigsaw puzzle. Each and every one of us is a piece of the puzzle and the puzzle is only complete when all the pieces have been connected together.
- If you don't connect your piece, that's one thing, the puzzle remains incomplete.
- However, if you prevent other people from connecting their pieces, that's another thing, you harm them, the entire whole and ultimately yourself.
- Even if one piece is missing, the entire puzzle remains incomplete. In this way, we're interconnected and interdependent.
- When you judge what you see, you do so according to your own standards. God's standards are not our standards. As it is written, "'My thoughts are not your thoughts, and my ways are not your ways,' declares YAHWEH" (Isaiah 55:8, NOGB)
- Once you go through a change in the perception of your reality, you'll see The Truth. You'll wake up, your eyes will be opened and you'll see the world through a new set of lenses. The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the only one who can open your eyes. Ask Him to change your inner qualities from selfishness to bestowal and He'll help you.
