What Are You Doing With Your Thoughts?

We think we are our thoughts, but we aren't. We don't own our thoughts, they don't come from us, we are not our thoughts, we are the awareness, the observers behind our thoughts.

All of our thoughts come from above. They are given to us for a number of reasons: they're a part of God's plan, they're used to test us and they're used for other purposes yet unknown.

You can actually step back and watch your thoughts. They come and go. Some are good and some are bad. If you're aware of your thoughts, you can decide what to do with them, you can become your own thought police. Let's take a look:
  1. When GOOD THOUGHTS come to you:
    • You can AGREE with them, seeking to benefit yourself, others and all of nature, which is a GOOD thing, or
    • You can DISAGREE with them, harming yourself, others and all of nature, which is a BAD thing
  2. When BAD THOUGHTS come to you:
    • You can AGREE with them, harming yourself, others and all of nature, which is a BAD thing, or
    • You can DISAGREE with them, seeking to benefit yourself, others and all of nature, which is a GOOD thing.
You don't have to agree with all your thoughts, you should observe your thoughts and disagree with any thoughts that harm you, others and all of nature.

Thoughts are the most powerful force in nature. What you think, more like what you agree to, manifests in your reality, generally speaking.

(Sometimes, what you think, agree to, want, scheme or plot doesn't manifest in your reality because it's not part of God's plan. If it's not part of God's plan, it's not going to happen. This may seem like a contradictory statement, but it isn't because there is none else besides Him.)

If you agree with good thoughts and disagree with bad thoughts, then good things manifest in your reality. Whereas if you disagree with good thoughts and agree with bad thoughts, then bad things manifest in your reality.

If your thoughts manifest in your reality, then what you see outside of you is a reflection of who you are inside of you.

People who are aware of this phenomenon, react in different ways:
  1. Some people try to only have good thoughts, so they only do good to others and so they don't harm others, which is a good thing.
  2. Some people try and benefit themselves, riches etc. and they harm others by sabotaging them etc., which is a bad thing.
In everything we do, even in our thoughts, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves. Jesus said, "You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind." (Matthew 22:37, NKJV)

Understanding Thoughts And Actions

In this realm, if I wanted to pick apples it's a two step process:
1. First, I have to think about picking the apples
2. Then I have to actually pick the apples.
These are two separate steps.

In the spiritual realm, it's not a two step process, it's a one step process because the thought is the action. So if I wanted to pick apples, they'd be picked.

Of this, Jesus said, "27 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not commit adultery.' 28 But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." " (Matthew 5:27-28, NKJV)

While we can't see our own thoughts and we can't see other people's thoughts, in the spiritual realm thoughts are transparent and everybody knows what you're thinking. You're constantly being watched, not just your actions, but also, your thoughts.

What are you doing with your thoughts? Think about it.
