God is a benevolent being, who seeks to benefit others instead of Himself.
If you seek to benefit others instead of yourself:
1. You become similar to God in quality, and
2. You do God's work here on Earth.
Some people do good deeds in action, but secretly want others to see them as righteous. In action and in intention, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
