Why Did Jesus Withdraw To Lonely Places?

"But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed." (Luke 5:16, NIV)
The reason Jesus withdrew to lonely places is because:
  1. He was seeking an uninterrupted connection with God, where He could focus on his internality, instead of being distracted by the externality of this world.
  2. He needed a break from the games and plays that take place in this world.
  3. He needed a break from being micromanaged by those who orchestrate the games and plays of this world.
  4. There may be other reasons as well.
