Zelicah and Joseph:
"And Zelicah [fn 1] became very ill on account of her desire toward Joseph, and she was desperately lovesick on account of him, and all the people of the house of Zelicah and her husband knew nothing of this matter, that Zelicah was ill on account of her love to Joseph." (The Book Of Jasher 44:36) [1][2][fn2]
Here's My Story:
I yearn for God. I'm love sick. I feel ill. I don't feel well. I'm pregnant with love. I have morning sickness. Physically, it feels as though I'm under construction, undergoing a transformation, changing from hatred to love, from caterpillar to pupa to butterfly, and it hurts. But it's not just about me, it's about all of creation.
Nothing satisfies or satiates me except God Himself. His kindness, benevolence, and gentleness turns me on and His touch penetrates the very fiber of my being, so much so that I completely lose myself. Nothing compares to Him. He is my only remedy, my only relief, my only fulfillment. I need Him and only Him.
