Cain killed Abel.
"Then the LORD said to Cain, "Where is your brother Abel?"
"I don't know," he replied. "Am I my brother's keeper?" " (Genesis 4, NIV)
Perhaps this verse is talking about something else entirely.
We are all one family and we should be each others' keepers. In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
