On a scale from zero to ten, zero being super selfish (always seeking to benefit oneself) and ten being absolute bestowal (always seeking to benefit others), where are you on the benevolent scale? Are you a 3? Maybe a 5?
Let's say we're all born zero's, we're all born into selfishness, the purpose of life is to learn how to give, the goal is to get to ten. This means we have to change our inner qualities from personal selfishness to mutual bestowal.
We have to rise above our egos, stop harming others, then seek to benefit others instead of ourselves. Rising above our egos isn't the goal. Connection is the goal. We have to connect with each other in mutual bestowal, where everyone seeks to benefit others instead of themselves.
