The world that you see with your eyes presents itself as one picture, but what you see in that picture changes depending on your perception of reality.
It's almost as if there's a whole bunch of things that are happening all at the same time, in a super multipurpose system, where one event serves multiple purposes that can be interpreted differently depending on a person's perception of reality.
When you begin to see the world with a new perception of reality, you attain that state as you draw closer to The Creator in quality by seeking to benefit others instead of yourself.
Here are some of the perceptions of reality that you may see, or attain, as you change from selfishness (seeking to benefit yourself) to bestowal (seeking to benefit others):
- This World:
- This world is the world that you see while you're immersed in the quality of selfishness. The world appears to be a bad place, horrible things happen and you wonder about the meaning of your life.
- The Next World:
- The next world is the world that you see when you enter into the quality of bestowal.
- You're Selfish, Everyone Else Is Benevolent:
- You perceive that you're the only person who's selfish and everyone else around you is in bestowal, seeking to benefit you.
- You're Benevolent, Everyone Else Is Selfish:
- You perceive that you're the only person in bestowal and everyone else is immersed in selfishness. You feel as though the whole world depends on you.
- You're Benevolent, Everyone Else Is Benevolent:
- You perceive that you're benevolent and everyone else is also benevolent. You perceive that you've always been benevolent and were never immersed in selfishness. You perceive that nothing bad has ever happened to you, to others or to all of Nature. You're surrounded by love, you just had to realize it.
All these different perceptions of reality exist right here in this one picture that you see. There are times when one perception may dominate others. There are times when the perceptions may change as quickly as seconds and minutes, changing from one perception to another to help a person grow in the quality of bestowal.
As you draw closer to The Creator, and become even more similar to Him in quality (seeking to benefit others instead of yourself), you attain these different perceptions of reality. It's not something that you believe, it's something that you experience yourself.
In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
