Signs That Tell You Who I Am

The Quran asks, "Why has no sign been sent down to him from his Lord?" (Quran 6:37) Meaning, why are there no signs that tell you who I am? There are signs, we just have to know how to read them.

I can't tell you who I am because even if I told you, you wouldn't believe me. As such, signs are given to you as a witness to tell you who I am. This is all detailed in another post in this blog titled, "Don't Ask Me Who I am".

Here's a list of some of the signs that tell you who I am. This list shows you how to read the signs and how we're all interconnected. Keep in mind, Scripture talks only about our internal qualities, and the world we see is a reflection of our internal qualities. One thing becomes evident - there's An Upper Force that governs everything:

1. My name is Carter (The Creator) Wamaitha (The Messiah, the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End) Ngari (God), and I was born in Kenya (A Key). Details ...
2. I Live In Canada:
• It is written, "He will roll you up tightly like a ball and throw you into a large country. There you will die ... " (Isaiah 22:18, NIV) We moved to Canada in 1987 when I was 15 years old. Canada is a large country. [1] I died in July 2005 when I was 33 years old (living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada), meaning I went through a change in the perception of my reality - my quality of selfishness died and the quality of bestowal was born, a state known as Bestowing to Bestow. With respect to that event, I'm a child, about 10 years old today (as of Oct 24, 2015). Another event occurred on 28 October 2008: I sensed intense pleasure for the first time, a state known as Receiving to Bestow - using reception in bestowal, as it is written, "The wolf (reception) will live with the lamb (bestowal) ... and a little child will lead them." (Isaiah 11:6, NIV) This state is called a son, as it is written, "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son ..." (Isaiah 7:14, NIV). (The virgin is the quality of reception that's doing something it's never done before.) I'm about 7 years old today (as of Oct 24, 2015) since the beginning of that event. [More about the change in the perception of my reality can be found under the FAQ section of this blog and in the "Perception of Reality" section of this post, below.]
• In September 2009, my brother and I drove across Canada, from eastern Canada (Mississauga, Ontario) to western Canada (Powell River, British Columbia). It is written, "For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man." (Matthew 24:27, NIV).
3. I Live In Powell River, British Columbia, Canada:
• Powell River [2] has the words WELL and RIVER in it, both connected to water. Water is connected with the quality of bestowal (seeking to benefit others/Nature instead of ourselves). As it is written, "... rivers of living water will flow from within them." (John 7:38, NIV) Powell River is surrounded by water - rivers, lakes and the Pacific Ocean.
• Powell River's local hockey team is called the Powell River Kings [3], which is a sign that The One, a King, will come from Powell River.
• Powell River's local newspaper is called The Powell River Peak [4], which is a sign that The One, who is the peak of creation, will come from Powell River. Another local Powell River paper is called Powell River Living [5], a sign that spiritual life, will come from Powell River.
• It is written, "His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River (meaning Powell River) to the ends of the earth." (Zechariah 9:10, NIV)
• Powell River is named after a man called Israel Wood Powell [6], which is a sign that The One, who will be called Israel, will come from Powell River.
• There are four donkeys in Wildwood in Powell River, as it is written, "See, your King comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey ..."  (Zechariah 9:9, NIV)
• There are also several horses in Powell River, as it is written, "... there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True." (Revelation 19:11, NIV)
4. I Am Israel:
   • It is written, "... still others ... will take the name Israel." (Isaiah 44:5, NIV)
   • Israel comes from two Hebrew words "Yashar" and "El", which means "Straight to God". A person who seeks to bring contentment to The Creator by benefiting others/Nature is called Yashar El, Ysrael, Israel. Israel is a country that represents this internal quality known as Yashar El, Ysrael, Israel.
   • Israel is also connected to two Hebrew Words "Li" and "Rosh", which means "Head". Israel is the head of the body, and the head seeks only to serve the body.
   • In 1948, the State of Israel [7] was declared, officially putting Israel back on the map after many years, which is a sign that the people called Israel (Yashar El (Straight to God)) will begin to wake up, starting with The One. Of this it is written, "... Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labour bears a son ..." (Micah 5:3, NIV) Also, "The One who breaks open the way will go up before them ..." (Micah 2:13, NIV)
   • I live in Powell River, a city named after a man called Israel.
5. I Am The United States:
• I am The United States, meaning I am both the state of reception and the state of bestowal, an internal state known as Receiving to Bestow, when the state of reception is used in bestowal. The United States of America is a country that represents this internal quality known as The United States.
• As of Oct 23, 2015, Barack Obama is the current (44th) president of The United States. He's part Kenyan, his father was Kenyan [8]. As leader of The United States, this is a sign that The One, who is The United States, will come from Kenya. I'm part Kenyan, my father is Kenyan. Barack Obama is a sign of who I am.
• Like Barack Obama, I'm half black (reception) and half white (bestowal), a sign of being in a state of Receiving to Bestow, using reception in bestowal.
• I have American heritage. My name Carter comes from Robert "King" Carter, who was American. [9] Even though "King" was his nickname, this was a sign, a foretelling of the lineage to come.
• My youngest brother is married to an American. They live in Seattle, in King County, USA.
6. I Am The United Kingdom:
• I am The United Kingdom, meaning I am both the kingdom of reception and the kingdom of bestowal, an internal state known as Receiving to Bestow, when the state of reception is used in bestowal. The United Kingdom is a country that represents this internal quality known as The United Kingdom.
• As of Oct 23, 2015, Elizabeth II is the Queen of The United Kingdom. She became leader of The United Kingdom on 6 February 1952, while she was in Kenya [10] (while Kenya was still a British Colony [11]), which is a sign that The One, who is The United Kingdom, will come from Kenya. I was born and raised in Kenya. Elizabeth II is a sign of who I am.
• I have English heritage. My name Carter comes from John Carter (Robert Carter's father), who was originally from England. [12]
• My parents met in England, in The United Kingdom.
7. Pain And Suffering:
• Starting in 2009 until today, I suffer from chronic pain, as it is written, "... a man of suffering, and familiar with pain" (Isaiah 53:3, NIV), and also, "You are long-suffering ..." (Jeremiah 15:15, NIV)
• I also suffer from chronic fatigue, as it is written, "... my strength fails because of my affliction ..." (Psalm 31:10, NIV), and also, "My strength is gone and I can hardly breathe." (Daniel 10:17, NIV)
• Sometimes I groan out loud, as it is written, "In my distress I groan aloud ..." (Psalm 102:5, NIV)
• From time to time, and for various reasons, I weep inconsolably, as it is written, "My face is red with weeping, dark shadows ring my eyes ..." (Job 16:16, NIV) Also, "All night long I flood my bed with weeping ..." (Psalm 6:6, NIV), and "Jesus wept." (John 11:35, NIV)
• I get cold really easily and struggle to keep warm, as it is written, "When King David was very old, he could not keep warm even when they put covers over him." (1 Kings 1:1, NIV)
8. Family:
• I have no physical children, as it is written, "... you who never bore a child ..." (Isaiah 54:1, NIV)
• I am the only daughter of my mother, as it is written, "... the only daughter of her mother ..." (Song of Songs 6:9, NIV)
• I am a stranger to my brothers and family, as it is written, "I am a foreigner to my family, a stranger to my own mother's children." (Psalm 69:8, NIV)
• I've been forsaken by my father and mother, as it is written, "Though my father and mother forsake me ..." (Psalm 27:10, NIV)
9. Perception of Reality:
• More about the change in the perception of my reality can be found under the FAQ section of this blog and in the "I Live In Canada" section of this post, above.]
• After I went through a change in the perception of my reality, I couldn't talk about what I'd been through because I didn't have the words to express myself, as it is written, "... and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth." (Isaiah 53:7, NIV), and also, "But Jesus remained silent." (Matthew 26:63, NIV)
• With respect to my new perception of reality, I'm a child (as of Nov 13, 2015). I study online to learn more about what I'm going through. You can find me online asking questions at www.kab.tv/eng [13], as it is written, when Jesus was twelve years old, "... they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions." (Luke 2:41-46, NIV) The temple is a state of attainment.
10. Others:
• The first car I bought was a Saturn. Saturn is also a planet with rings. [14] A ring is a symbol of entering into a covenant with another. Meaning, entering into a covenant of love with The Creator, as it is written, "Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments."  (Deuteronomy 7:9, NIV) I love God with all my heart and all I want is to be with The Creator, as it is written, "In love a throne will be established ..."  (Isaiah 16:5, NIV) and also, "... a man after my own heart ..." (Acts 13:22, NIV)
• I've slept on street sidewalks, on park benches, on the ground and in my car, as it is written, "Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." (Matthew 8:20, NIV)
• For some strange reason I tend to mumble to myself, as it is written "... your speech will mumble ..." (Isaiah 29:4, NIV)
• I slapped someone once, and years later I got slapped, as it is written, "And they slapped him in the face." (John 19:3, NIV)
• I am poor and needy, as it is written, "But as for me, I am poor and needy ..." (Psalm 40:17, NIV). Also, "... whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." (Matthew 25:40, NIV)
• I tend to seek out quiet places, as it is written, "But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places ..." (Luke 5:16, NIV)
• I write on paper as well as on my blogs, as it is written, "... my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer." (Psalm 45:1, NIV) Also, "Who taught by the pen". (Quran 96:4, Sahih) (New Mar 7, 2016) Of Jesus, it is written, "Isn't this the carpenter?" (Mark 6:3, NIV) CARpenTER = CARTER + pen (anagram), meaning, CARTER taught by the pen. Photo ...
• I have no broken bones, as it is written "... he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken." (Psalm 34: 20, NIV) But ...
• I have bad breath, as it is written, "My breath is offensive ..." (Job 19:17, NIV)
• I have bad body odour, as it is written, "Instead of fragrance there will be a stench ..." (Isaiah 3:24, NIV)
• I've been bald, as it is written, "... instead of well-dressed hair, baldness ..."  (Isaiah 3:24, NIV)
• (New Mar 7, 2016) I've worn sackcloth, as it is written, "... instead of fine clothing, sackcloth ..." (Isaiah 3:24, NIV) Photo ...
• I've been to Egypt, as it is written, ".. out of Egypt I called my son." (Hosea 11:1, NIV)
• I've lived through various events that are very similar to Biblical stories:
• The forbidden fruit and the snake. More ...
• No room at the inn. More ...
• I have the stigmata, as it is written, "And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them." (Quran 4:157, Sahih) More ...
• The internet, social media and other technologies have connected the whole world unlike any other time in history, which is a sign that soon we'll all be connected in mutual bestowal, seeking to benefit others/Nature instead of ourselves. It is written, "... every eye will see him ..." (Revelations 1:7, NIV), which is now possible with technology.
• I perform no miracles (which might be expected from someone like me), as it is written, "Why are not signs sent down to him from his Lord?" (Quran 29:50, Sahih) The only miracle that will happen is the world will change from selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) to bestowal (seeking to benefit others/Nature).
• There are other signs as well, some of which are of things to come.

I'll update this list from time to time to include new signs as they unfold. Some of these signs have not been fully explained, but the purpose of this list is to show you how to read the signs and how we're all interconnected.

Our internal qualities have to change from selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) to bestowal (seeking to benefit others/Nature), and we should do so to bring contentment to The Creator.

Do not be afraid. God is with us.

Perspective Affects Our Understanding

Our perspective affects our understanding. Here's an example of a dad who sometimes disciplines his son and sometimes gives his son gifts:

1. The Dad Disciplines His Son:
• From the point of view of the dad, it's out of love
• From the point of view of the son, his dad is "bad"
2. The Dad Gives His Son Gifts:
• From the point of view of the dad, it's out of love
• From the point of view of the son, his dad is "good"

• The Dad's Point Of View:
• Never changes
• Everything he does is out of love
• The Son's Point of View:
• Changes
• Sometimes his dad is "bad", sometimes his dad is "good"
• When the son becomes older he'll have a different perspective and he'll come to see that everything his dad did was out of love.

It is written, "I the LORD do not change." (Malachi 3:6, NIV) Meaning, nothing bad has ever happened to us, other or all of Nature. We're surrounded by love, we just have to realize it. We may not realize it now because we have a limited perspective, but when our perception of reality changes, eventually we'll come to see The Truth.

Knowing that we're surrounded by love doesn't mean that we can do whatever we want, not at all. In everything we do, we should seek to benefit other and Nature instead of ourselves.

God Doesn't Use Good Looks To Convey His Message

Companies often use good looks and sex appeal to sell their products. God doesn't use good looks or sex appeal to convey his message. Here are some notes:

1. How Companies Sell Their Products:
• Companies often use good looking people and sex appeal to sell their products. Many advertising campaigns feature a beautiful woman and/or a handsome man to sell their products, even though the good looking person has nothing to do with the product being sold. For example, you might see a beautiful woman responding orgasmically to a piece of chocolate she's just eaten.
• This does two things:
• It makes people believe that if they buy the product, they'll be just as good looking and sexually desirable as the person in the ad, and
• It makes people believe that the product is 'good looking' and 'sexually desirable', and if they buy the product it will fulfill them in more ways than it actually will. The product is offered as a sexually fulfilling relationship. Who needs anything else, when you have the product, right? All lies. People buy the product, it doesn't fulfill them as they expected and they're left feeling even more empty than before.
2. How God Conveys His Message:
• God doesn't use good looks or sex appeal to convey his message:
• Of God's servant it is written, "... his appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any human being and his form marred beyond human likeness ..." (Isaiah 52:14, NIV)
• It is also written, "He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem." (Isaiah 53:2-3, NIV)
• God's message stands on its own, without the focus being on the person delivering the message. It's not about the person delivering the message, it's about the message itself.
3. A Mother's Love For Her Children:
• A mother's love for her children or a father's love for his children has nothing to do with the parent's good looks or the children's good looks. Looks has nothing to do with how much a parent loves their children. Love is love and looks has nothing to do with it.

Companies often use aggressive advertising campaigns to brainwash us to believe that their products are more desirable than they actually are because they use good looking people and sex appeal to sell their products. By contrast, God doesn't use good looks or sex appeal to convey his message because God's message stands alone.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Taking A Stand Against The Quality Of Selfishness

We should all unite against our internal quality of selfishness, which makes us seek to benefit ourselves with no regard for others or Nature. We have to change from selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) to bestowal (seeking to benefit others and Nature).

The ultimate goal is to bring contentment to The Creator by seeking to benefit others and all of Nature.

We don't do anything on our own, The Creator does everything:
      - He changes our internal qualities from selfishness to bestowal.
      - He changes our perception of reality.
      - He reveals The Truth.

The only thing we have to do is WANT (desire) to be in bestowal and ASK Him for help.

We enter the quality of bestowal by taking a stand against the quality of selfishness. This happens in two ways: By deciding that we don't want to harm others and Nature anymore, and by acknowledging that we're unfulfilled in our current system of selfishness:

1. Not Wanting To Harm Others And Nature:
• While we're immersed in the quality of selfishness, we harm others and all of Nature.
• At some point, the horror of it reaches a breaking point, and we decided that we don't want to harm others and Nature anymore.
• By deciding that we don't want to harm others and Nature anymore, we take a stand against the quality of selfishness, which brings us to bestowal.
• Be brave and don't be afraid to go against your selfish inclinations. Cry out to The Creator and ask Him for help.
2. Acknowledging That We're Unfulfilled:
• All the systems of this world have been built on the quality of selfishness - family, school, work, countries, politics, religion, science etc.
• All the pleasures that we feel - food, sex, family, money, honour, knowledge, power - are pleasures that we feel within the quality of selfishness.
• At some point, we begin to despair because the pleasures of the quality of selfishness are fleeting, and no matter how hard we try, we remain empty and unfulfilled. Nothing fulfills us anymore, meaning, nothing of the quality of selfishness fulfills us anymore.
• By acknowledging that we're unfulfilled by the quality of selfishness, that we remain empty and that something is still missing, we take a stand against the quality of selfishness, which brings us to bestowal.
• Be brave and don't be afraid to admit that you're unfulfilled. There's a hole in our heart that only God can fill. Cry out to The Creator and ask Him for help.

We should all unite against our internal quality of selfishness. When we decide that we don't want to harm others and Nature anymore, and when we acknowledge that we're empty and unfulfilled, we take a stand against the quality of selfishness, which brings us to bestowal.

The ultimate goal is to bring contentment to The Creator.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others and all of Nature in order to bring contentment to The Creator.

The Corruption In Men And Women

Society has many corruptions, one of which is the corruption that exists in men and women:

1. Corruption In Men:
• Men are influenced by society (especially TV and movies) to be a certain way - to be machismo, tough, arrogant, competitive, independent etc. These faulty ideals are a lie, influenced by the quality of selfishness.
• If men show any feminine qualities, they're teased and mocked for being a sissy, whipped, too emotional etc.
• There's a discrepancy between who men really are and who society tells them they should be. This discrepancy creates confusion, tension, stress and unhappiness, as men try to fit in to the faulty societal ideal of what a 'real' man should be.
• Men should simply be themselves. Men should be brave and not be afraid to be caring, tender, compassionate, considerate, thoughtful etc.
2. Corruption In Women:
• Women are influenced by society to be more like men, to nullify their own true essence, their feminine qualities and adopt masculine qualities instead. This faulty ideal is a lie, influenced by the quality of selfishness.
• Women are teased and mocked for being too needy, clingy, emotional etc. Being a mother (one of the most important roles in society) is considered meaningless - you're JUST a mother, how boring - when in fact, the opposite is true. Being a housewife is also considered meaningless, when the opposite is true, taking care of a home is an extremely important role.
• There's a discrepancy between who women really are and who society tells them they should be. This discrepancy creates confusion, tension, stress and unhappiness, as women try to fit in to the faulty societal ideal of what a 'real' woman should be. Worse yet, women are trying to be like the men than men themselves are trying to be like.
• Women should simply be themselves. Women should be brave and not be afraid to be caring, tender, nurturing, gentle, compassionate etc.

In this world, masculine qualities (defined as being fierce, powerful, aggressive, competitive) are idolized over feminine qualities (defined as being nurturing, caring, tender, compassionate etc.) This lie is influenced by the quality of selfishness.

We have to change from selfishness (for me) to bestowal (for others). We have to build a new society that's rooted in bestowal and The Truth, one that inspires men and women to be themselves.

The Truth is that God Himself (who relative to us is masculine) is gentle, kind, nurturing, loving, caring etc. He has all the qualities - defined in this world as feminine and undesirable.

Men should be inspired by God Himself, to know what a real man should be.

Women should be inspired by God Himself, to know that there's nothing wrong with their feminine qualities.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Benevolence

God uses us to benefit each other. We're benevolent but we don't know it because we don't see how God uses us to help each other. We need to get to a point where we're consciously aware of our benevolence and our relationship with God.

That doesn't mean that people have free license to do whatever they want. Not at all.
In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Trust Can Be A Very Powerful Comforter

Have you ever seen someone who's really good at what they do, whether they're a waitress, a chef, a carpenter, a doctor etc., there's this calm confidence in their manner and demeanor, and it fills you with a deep sense of comfort because you know that you're in good hands? And when you watch them work you have no doubt in your mind that they know what they're doing. And you trust them completely.

That's how I feel about God. He's REALLY good at what He does. When I watch Him work, I'm filled with a deep sense of comfort because I know that I'm in good hands, I know that we're all in good hands. And I trust Him completely.

Whether 'good' things happen, or 'bad' things happen, know that there is none else besides Him. Trust can be a very powerful comforter. Trust that you're in good hands, because you are, we all are. We're in God's hands and He's REALLY good at what He does.

Only God Can Change Our Internal Qualities

Only God can change our internal qualities from selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) to bestowal (seeking to benefit others):

1. Ask Him to change your internal qualities from selfishness to bestowal, so you can seek to benefit others and all of nature, and enter into adhesion with Him.
2. When you get to a point where you're seeking to benefit others instead of yourself, ask Him to change other people's internal qualities from selfishness to bestowal, so they can seek to benefit others and all of nature, and enter into adhesion with Him.

Ultimately, the goal is to bring contentment to The Creator. From the love of friends, we come to the love of God.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Attaining Is The Promise

Attaining the quality of bestowal (seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves) is the promise that God made in Eden, to Abraham and to King David:

1. God's Promise In Eden:
• "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel." (Genesis 3:15, NIV)
• Meaning the head of the quality of selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) will be crushed and we will enter into the quality of bestowal (seeking to benefit others).
2. God's Promise To Abraham:
• "I will make you into a great nation ... and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you." (Genesis 12:2-3, NIV)
• Meaning, we'll become a great nation of people who are connected in mutual bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves.
• "As for me, this is my covenant with you: You will be the father of many nations. (Genesis 17:4, NIV)
• Meaning, the work that Abraham started (connecting in mutual bestowal) will spread to many nations and we'll all be connected in mutual bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves.
• "I will establish my covenant as an everlasting covenant between me and you and your descendants after you for the generations to come ..." (Genesis 17:7, NIV)
• Meaning the quality of bestowal (seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves) will be an everlasting covenant between us and God. It brings us into everlasting adhesion with The Creator.
• "I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed ..." (Genesis 22:17-18, NIV)
• Meaning, the quality of bestowal (seeking to benefit others) will take possession for the cities of our enemies (the quality of selfishness) and all nations on earth will be in the quality of bestowal.
3. God's Promise To King David:
• "Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever." (2 Samuel 7:16, NIV)
• Meaning, the house and the kingdom of the quality of bestowal (seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves) will be established forever.

Remember, only God can change our internal qualities from selfishness to bestowal. Ask Him to help you and He will.

Attaining the quality of bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves, is the promise that God made in Eden, to Abraham and to King David.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Attaining The Revelation Of The Creator

Religion is based on blind faith, science is based on the replication of results and The Wisdom of Kabbalah is based on The Truth.

Religion is based on blind faith. People believe things that they read about and/or things that they're told. The stronger the blind faith, the more devote the follower.

Science is based on being able to replicate results. Somebody discovers something, and other people are able to replicate the exact same results.

The Wisdom of Kabbalah (The Wisdom of Truth) is a science that's based on personal attainment and growth - the goal being to change from personal selfishness (seeking to benefit yourself) to mutual bestowal (seeking to benefit others). It's not about red strings, holy water or various rites and rituals, it's about our internal qualities and our intention. The revelation of The Creator is something that you attain on your own, it's something that you experience yourself. It's not something that you believe blindly, you go through the events yourself.

Keep in mind, that even though you attain the revelation of The Creator yourself, you can only come to it through bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of yourself.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Understanding The Golden Rule

The Golden Rule [1] can be written as don't treat others the way you don't want to be treated, or treat others the way you want to be treated.

In addition, Jesus said that the two most important rules of The Bible are: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind" and "love your neighbour as yourself." (Matthew 22:34-40, NIV)

Changing from personal selfishness (seeking to benefit yourself) to mutual bestowal (seeking to benefit others) is a two step process: First, you have to rise above your ego, then you have to connect with others. By connecting with others, you become connected with The Creator.

Here's a detailed explanation of the rules:

1. Don't Treat Others They Way You Don't Want To Be Treated:
• This has to do with rising above your ego. 
• You have to rise above your personal selfishness and stop seeking to benefit yourself with no regard for others.
• Meaning, rise above your ego and stop harming others and all of Nature.
• Meaning, restrict your ego, your selfish tendency to benefit yourself at the expense of others and Nature, and don't cause them any harm.
2. Treat Others The Way You Want To Be Treated / Love Your Neighbour As Yourself:
• This has to do with connecting with others.
• Meaning, seek to benefit others instead of yourself.
• Meaning, adopt other people's desires as your own and seek to benefit their desires instead of your own.
• Meaning, 'feel', sense and connect with others, and seek to do good to them and to benefit them in a positive and constructive way.
3. Love God With All Your Heart, Soul And Mind:
• The quality of bestowal is God's quality. When you bestow to others and Nature, and seek to benefit them instead of yourself, you become similar to God in quality.
• When everyone is connected in mutual, reciprocal bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of themselves, the part that connects is the part that bestows, the part that's similar to The Creator. In this way, you connect to The Creator.
• From the love of friends, you come to the love of God.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Great Children

Let's say a great man has children. How would you treat his children? Probably very well because they're the children of a great man.

We're all God's children, so how should we treat each other? If we treat others (and Nature) badly, how do you think that makes God feel?

We have to change from personal selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) to mutual bestowal (seeking to benefit others). 

From the love of friends, we come to the love of God.
In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Behave As Though You're Constantly Being Watched

In front of God, everything is transparent. Behave as though you're constantly being watched, not just in your actions, but also in your thoughts.

We tend to behave differently when we know we're being watched.

The Purpose Of Bestowal Is Adhesion With The Creator

The purpose of bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves, is to be in adhesion with The Creator; it's not to establish nice and friendly relationships with others, even though that happens as a necessary step. From the love of friends, we come to the love of God.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves, and we should do so in order to bring contentment to The Creator.

God Governs Everything

God governs everything. There is none else besides Him.
The hearts of kings and ministers are in the hands of The Creator.

If you want change, ask The Creator who governs everything.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
Do not be afraid. God is with us.

Stay Calm: The Creator Should Be Between Us

Stay calm and seek to benefit others instead of yourself.

If I'm immersed in selfishness (seeking to benefit myself) and if you're immersed in selfishness (seeking to benefit yourself), then the quality of selfishness exists between us.

However, if we change from personal selfishness to mutual bestowal, where I seek to benefit you instead of myself, and you seek to benefit me instead of yourself, then the quality of bestowal exists between us.

The quality of bestowal is connected to The Creator (because it's God's quality) and it's connected to the kingdom of God.

So if we connect with each other in mutual bestowal, then the kingdom of God and The Creator will be between us.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
Stay calm and seek to benefit others instead of yourself.

What Kind Of 'god' Are You?

A lot of people criticize God because they say, "What kind of God would let bad things happen?", or they say, "If I were God, I would never let such a thing happen."

Nature is an integral system that's interconnected and interdependent. We have the ability to affect and influence people (and all of Nature) in a negative and destructive way, or in a positive and constructive way.

Our actions (and lack thereof) have consequences, they actually affect the world around us. As such, we're playing 'god'. What kind of 'god'? Let's take a look:

1. God Is Bountiful:
• When a person becomes extremely rich and wealthy, what does he do with his wealth? Does he seek to benefit others or does he selfishly seek to benefit himself and make even more money, become even more wealthy?
• We see countless examples of rich and wealthy people who seek only to benefit themselves. Even though they're in a position to help others, they don't.
2. God Is Omnipotent, All Powerful:
• When a person becomes extremely powerful, what does he do with his power? Does he seek to benefit others or does he selfishly seek to benefit himself and become even more powerful?
• We see countless examples of powerful people who only seek to benefit themselves. Even though they're in a position to help others, they don't.
3. God Is Omniscient, All Knowing:
• When a person gains knowledge, what does he do with his knowledge? Does he seek to benefit others or does he selfishly seek to benefit himself and gain even more knowledge?
• We see countless examples of intelligent, knowledgeable people who only seek to benefit themselves. Even though they're in a position to help others, they don't.
4. God Is Praised:
• When a person gains praise/honor/fame/celebrity, what does he do with his honor/praise/fame/celebrity? Does he seek to benefit others or does he selfishly seek to benefit himself and gain even more praise/honor/fame/celebrity?
• We see countless examples of people who are praised/honored/famous/celebrities who only seek to benefit themselves. Even though they're in a position to help others, they don't.
5. God is A Provider:
• Many people have the ability to provide for others, but they don't because they're selfishly seeking to benefit themselves.
• As a result, we see the consequences of selfish behaviour: Negligent parents, single parent families, orphans, street children, parents who don't provide for their children, children who don't provide for their parents, poverty, billions of people lack proper nourishment and improved sanitation facilities, billions live in slums, billions don't have access to essential medicines etc.
• We're all one family and we have to start treating each other as one family, by providing for one another and ensuring that our basic needs are met.

We have to change from personal selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) to mutual bestowal (seeking to benefit others).

God is benevolent, He uses his attributes and qualities in a positive and constructive way, to benefit others instead of Himself.

We're playing 'god' by using certain qualities and attributes (bounty/money, praise/honor/fame/celebrity, knowledge and power); however, we use them in a selfish, negative and destructive way. We learn through opposites and in order to understand God's attributes, we first have to experience their opposite.

Of all the pleasures that can exist, attaining The Creator (being in the quality of bestowal and seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves) is one of the greatest pleasures. However, we can't reach this through the quality of selfishness, we can only reach it through the quality of bestowal.

Instead of criticizing God, ask yourself, what kind of 'god' are you? If you're in a position to benefit others, to help others, and you don't, then what kind of 'god' are you? If you can benefit others in a positive and constructive way, but you choose not to, then what kind of 'god' are you?

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Sometimes, Plans Change

Some people believe that everything a prophet says has to come true, as it is written, "If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken." (Deuteronomy 18:22, NIV)

However, we know from several other examples in The Bible that plans change:

1. Abraham And Isaac: Abraham was told by God to sacrifice his son Isaac. Abraham made all the preparations to do so, but at the last moment an angel of the LORD stopped him. The plans changed and Abraham sacrificed a ram instead. (Genesis 22:1-18, NIV)
2. Ahab And Elijah: Ahab wanted Naboth's vineyard, but Naboth wouldn't sell. Jezebel (Ahab's wife) had Naboth killed and Ahab took his vineyard. Elijah was sent by God to tell Ahab that God would destroy him, his wife and his descendants. When Ahab heard this, he repented. God heard him and the plans changed. What had been decreed against him wouldn't take place in his day, but in the days of his son. (1 Kings 21, NIV)
3. Hezekiah And Isaiah: Hezekiah was ill and God sent Isaiah to tell him that he would die. After Isaiah left, Hezekiah prayed to the LORD. God heard him and the plans changed. God sent Isaiah back to him to tell him that 15 more years had been added to his life. (2 Kings 20, NIV)
4. Jonah And The People of Nineveh: God sent Jonah to tell the people of Nineveh that the city would be destroyed. When the king heard of it, the entire city repented. God heard them and the plans changed. The city would not be destroyed. (Jonah 3, NIV)

Our relationship with God is exactly that, it's a relationship. It's dynamic and it changes from moment to moment based on our interaction with Him. Ask God to help you and He will.

There's no contradiction between Deuteronomy 18:22 and the other examples. Deuteronomy 18:22 is talking about how a level of attainment called 'prophet' corrects a desire. The other examples are different states within our internal qualities.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Yearn For The Creator In Good Times And 'Bad' Times

Regardless of the state we're in, whether it's a good state or a bad state, we should always yearn for The Creator:

1. A 'Bad' State:
• Let's say we're in a 'bad' state, getting blows (stress at home, stress at work, disease etc.) and it makes us feel bad - it's easier to yearn for The Creator in this state because blows soften our ego and open us up to something greater than ourselves. When we're in a 'bad' state, we're more likely to cry out to The Creator and ask for His help.
• So the 'bad' state is actually a good state because it's purposeful - it's meant to bring us to The Creator.
2. A Good State:
• Let's say things are going well and we feel good. It's harder to yearn for The Creator in this state because our egos become satiated, we become complacent, we become haughty, prideful and arrogant, and we're less likely to sympathize with others. Our egos takes over and we become trapped in selfishness, which isn't a good thing because when we're trapped in selfishness, we're disconnected from The Creator.
• For some people, feeling good is actually a blow because it's harder to yearn for The Creator. As a result, they prefer to feel 'bad' simply because it's easier to yearn for The Creator in that state.

I'm not saying that people should go out of their way to feel bad, not at all. I'm saying that if you're already feeling bad, use it to yearn for The Creator. I'm saying that we should yearn for The Creator in every state - whether we feel good or 'bad'. 

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
