We Live In An Integral System

We live in an integral system that's interconnected and interdependent. Thoughts, behaviour and actions in one part of the system affects things elsewhere. As such, we should be mindful of our thoughts, behaviour and actions.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others/animals/Nature instead of ourselves.

Animals: Intelligence In Nature

In our arrogance, we think we're the only intelligent species on earth, we're not. Nature has given all her species the intelligence they need to live and survive.

Intelligence in Nature takes many forms:

• Animal Architects: 
• Beavers build dams.
• Spiders build cob webs.
• Birds build nests.
• Animal Navigators:
• Some animals such as some birds, butterflies, fish etc., can travel hundreds, even thousands of miles on migration routes, using their God-given internal navigation systems.
• Animal Communication:
• Animals communicate in many ways - using sounds, body language, scents, hormones, touch etc.
• In this YouTube video [1] starling murmurations shows how starlings communicate so seamlessly, they operate as one entity.

While animals take only what they need from Nature, we not only take what we need, but also, we take more than we need, and we intentionally destroy Nature for our own selfish purposes. Is destroying one's home a sign of intelligence?

Animals don't have weapons of mass destruction. We do. Is this a sign of intelligence?

You may think our technological advancement is a sign of intelligence, but we've built magnificent cities where people are isolate, alone and unhappy. For all our advancements in science, are we any happier? No. We're empty, lonely and unfulfilled.

Today, we're all immersed in selfishness, seeking to benefit ourselves with no regard for others. We have to change from selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) to bestowal (seeking to benefit others and Nature).

When we enter into bestowal, we'll become aligned with the integral laws of Nature. When we connect in mutual bestowal, and begin to cooperate and collaborate, we'll find our true potential - benevolent intelligence - realized through the wisdom of the crowds [2].

Nature is an integral system that's interconnected and interdependent. We're a part of that system, not above it, not outside of it. The intelligence in Nature takes many shapes, forms, sizes and forms. When we enter into bestowal, we'll truly appreciate that.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others, animals and all of Nature instead of ourselves.

Stealing From Others, Society And Nature

We're all born with specific talents, skills, abilities, traits, attributes etc., which are meant to be used to benefit others and all of Nature.

When we don't use our talents, skills, abilities, traits, attributes etc., to benefit others and Nature, but instead, to benefit ourselves, we exploit others and Nature in two ways:

1. Stealing:
• First, we steal from others and all of Nature because our talents, skills, abilities, traits, attributes etc., are a resource, and all resources in the world belong to everyone equally and are meant to be shared. Meaning, our talents, skills, abilities, traits, attributes etc., don't belong to us, they belong to others and all of Nature.  (This is one of the ways we're interconnected and interdependent.) When we use them selfishly, to benefit ourselves, we deprive others and Nature of the benefit they would have otherwise gotten, had we used them benevolently. We steal, by not contributing benevolently to society and Nature.
2. Selling Stolen Property:
• Not only that, to add insult to injury, we sell our talents, skills, abilities, traits, attributes etc., to others for a fee. Basically, we ask them to buy their own stolen property. (Like a thief who steals your own property, then asks you to buy it back.) Extremely unfair.

We have to change the way we interact with others and all of Nature. Instead of using our talents, skills, abilities, traits, attributes etc., for our own selfish purposes, profit and gain, we should use them to benefit others and all of Nature.

This doesn't mean that we impose our benevolence on others, not at all. We shouldn't force our good deeds on others. Rather, we should receive permission before we engage in acts of bestowal, or know that our benevolence will be well received.

We have to give ourselves to others and Nature.
We have to share ourselves with others and Nature.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others and all of Nature.

Stealing From Nature To Make Money

The resources of the earth belong to everyone equally.

When individuals, families, groups, businesses, organizations and/or countries take resources from Nature and sell them as their own (for their own personal profit and gain), they exploit others in two ways:

1. Stealing:
• First, they steal from others because the resources of the world belong to everyone equally. Even though people spend time, energy, effort and money to get the resources, doesn't mean the resources belong to them. They appropriate the resources and claim them as their own, even though the resources are not theirs to take.
• Just because the resources are in a specific country, doesn't mean they belong to that country. The world doesn't have geographic boundaries, we created them.
• Imagine that the world is a house, with different rooms that serve different purposes, a kitchen, a bathroom, bedrooms etc. Through no action of our own (call it divine providence), we find ourselves living in one of the rooms. Instead of cooperating with others in the house, we charged a fee for them to use our room - a fee for the kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms etc. It's inefficient and absurd.
• The resources of the world belong to everyone equally, and even though different places of the world have different resources, doesn't mean those resources belong to those places. All the resources belong to everyone equally. 
2. Selling Stolen Property:
• After the resources have been wrongfully appropriated, they're sold to others for money. Basically, people are forced to buy their own stolen property. (Like a thief who comes into your home, steals your property, then asks you to buy it back. Or more specifically, like a family member who takes family property, then asks other family members to buy it back.) Extremely unfair.

All resources of the earth belong to everyone equally, which means:

1. We need permission from the whole world to use the resources of the earth, and
2. They resources of the earth must be used to benefit the whole world.

We have to change the way we interact with each other. Instead of pursuing selfish individual business ventures, we should realize that we're all one family living in one house. We should establish a global, cooperative and collaborative living arrangement, where family decisions are made to benefit others and all of Nature.

We have to change our internal qualities from personal selfishness (for me) to bestowal (for others). Instead of seeking to benefit ourselves, we should seek to benefit others and all of Nature.

The Shortcomings Of Philosophy

Today, we tend to put so much emphasis on the power of our minds and intellect. The Greek philosophers Socrates, Plato, Aristotle and others introduced reason and logic, which we still use today. While they focused on the power of the mind and intellect, their approach was still rooted in the quality of selfishness. We're not our thoughts. The only thing we are is desire. We are the desire and God is the fulfillment.

Here are my notes:

1. Our Nature Controls Us:
• Today, we're immersed in the quality of selfishness, seeking to benefit ourselves with no regard for others. The only thing human beings want to do is destroy. We can't control our lives. Our Nature controls us and our intellect doesn't help.
• Some may say that we're worse than animals because animals can get on with their lives, and generally speaking, animals only take when they need from Nature. We pride ourselves on being smart and intelligent, yet we cause harm to ourselves, to others and to all of Nature. There's no evidence of intelligence in the way we behave because we're negative and destructive. We lack cooperation, collaboration, foresight and strategy. We're negligent, thoughtless and oppressive. We live for ourselves, for today, with no regard for the damage we do to ourselves, to others and to all of Nature.
2. Freedom Of Choice:
• We think we have freedom of choice, but we don't. While we're immersed in the quality of selfishness, we have no freedom of choice. We have preferences, but not freedom of choice. For example if I choose an apple over an orange, it's not freedom of choice, it's simply that I prefer apples over oranges.
• True freedom of choice comes only after we enter into the quality of bestowal (seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves). Then we have the ability to choose between the quality of selfishness and the quality of bestowal.
• We don't have freedom of choice over our bodies. Our entire bodies are governed by Nature. I don't choose to breathe, I just breathe. I don't choose for my heart to beat, it just beats. I don't choose for my immune system to work, it just works. We don't choose when to enter puberty, it just happens. Somehow, we've decided that we govern our brains, which is where we've assumed our thoughts comes from. Our entire bodies, including our brains, are governed by Nature.
3. We're Puppets Controlled By A Puppet Master:
• There is none else besides Him. We're all puppets controlled by a Puppet Master. We are the governed and there's a Governor.
• French Philosopher Descartes [4] said, "I think, therefore I am":
• If a puppet says, "I think, therefore I am", everyone watching the puppet show knows that's not true. A puppet doesn't control what it says.
• Descartes assumed that he's the one thinking. We're not our thoughts. We're the awareness behind our thoughts. We can actually watch our thoughts come and go. We can police our thoughts - agree with positive thoughts and disagree with negative thoughts.
4. Our Thoughts Serve Our Desires:
• If I want an apple, I have to go through a series of thoughts (and actions) to get that apple. I have to go to the store, pick out some apples, pay for the them, come home, wash them, peel them, and eat them. My thoughts (and actions) serve my desires.
• Are our thoughts connected to the quality of selfishness? If we change from personal selfishness to mutual bestowal, rise above our egos, stop harming others and seek to benefit others instead of ourselves, will we transcend thought altogether? Will we enter into a new state where thoughts don't exist, where all that exists is pure emotion, sensing and feeling?

Instead of focusing on our intellect and our minds, we should focus on our desires. The true question is, "What do you want?" We are the desire and God is the fulfillment.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Are Rocks Benevolent?

Are rocks benevolent? Planet earth is a rock, this rock is our home, this rock has given us a place to live, so yes, rocks are benevolent.

If earth has given us a place to live, what have we done in return, to reciprocate? What should we do? In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others and all of Nature.

There are laws in Nature that we don't understand. We have feelings and we know animals have feelings, but what about everything else? Does all of Nature have feelings? Is Nature one big giant emotion? Do rocks have feelings? How about plants and trees?

God Of Peace

It is written, "For God is not a God of disorder but of peace ..." (1 Corinthians 14:33, NIV)

How about you? Do you like disorder, or peace? Do you bring harmony and balance to your social environment, or do you bring chaos and disruption?

The world may look chaotic and disorderly, yet all of Nature is an interconnected and interdependent system, all of Nature is in harmony and balance. We just have to realize it.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

From Caterpillar To Butterfly

All Of Creation Is Telling A Story

All of creation is interconnected and contributes to the telling of an arc-story and it's sub-stories. Here are examples from all of nature:

1. The Still Level: A star signaled the birth of Jesus. (Matthew 2:1-2, NIV)
2. The Vegetative Level: Jesus pointed out that a fig tree with tender shoots and new leaves signals that summer is near. (Matthew 24:32, NIV)
3. The Animate Level: Jesus told Peter that a rooster would crow, which would signal that he had disowned Jesus. (Matthew 26:34, NIV)

Jesus explained in great detail the sign of the end times, which includes wars, famine, earthquakes, false messiahs and false prophets who perform great signs and wonders etc. (Matthew 24:1-35, NIV)

There are some people who can 'read' the signs in nature, and some can even predict events and outcomes based on their ability to interpret these signs. Some people are very sensitive to changes in their environment and they can understand what those changes mean.

We all need to get to a point where we understand that all of Nature is interconnected and interdependent and that all of nature contributes to the telling of an arc-story and it's sub-stories.

Seeing & Hearing Other Frequencies

There are infinite frequencies in nature and our eyes and ears only see and hear a small fraction. Just because we can't see, hear or measure other frequencies, doesn't mean they don't exist.

For some reason, some people can see and/or hear things outside the 'normal' range. This doesn't mean they're crazy, it just means they can see and/or hear more.

There are a few examples in The Bible of this ability to see and/or hear what others can't:

1. Balaam's donkey saw an angel that Balaam at first couldn't see (Numbers 22:21-34, NIV)
2. Elisha's servant at first couldn't see the army that was surrounding them (2 Kings 6:16-17, NIV)

What use is money when there's a lonely star on the other side of the universe? Money can't buy universal love. Money can't buy love for all of creation.

Getting To Bestowal

There are two paths we can take to get to bestowal:

1. We can volunteer and consciously decide that mutual bestowal is better than personal selfishness. Of this it is written, "My heart is with Israel's princes, with the willing volunteers among the people." (Judges 5:9, NIV)
2. Nature will push us to connect and we won't like it. While there's no coercion in spirituality, nature will give us such horrendous conditions in the quality of selfishness that we'll desperately seek an alternative, mutual bestowal.

Either way, we're going to get to mutual bestowal because that's the purpose of creation. How we get there is up to us.

Nature Expects Us To Grow

Nature expects us to grow, and we do so according to a predefined program. We don't choose to become a 30 year old person, we develop 'naturally'. Just as we can't choose to remain a 10 year old child.

In this same way, nature is pushing us to develop from selfishness to bestowal. We're expected to grow. There is no coercion in spirituality (Quran 2:256, Sahih), we're expected to develop, to come to this 'naturally' on our own.

We Are Operated By Nature

We are in Nature, we're not above Nature. In fact, we're operated by Nature, we don't operate Nature. This is a major shift in the understanding of our lives and the role that we play in Nature. There is a plan, a program, and we're inside of this program.

Is Teleportation Possible?

Teleportation is a staple of science fiction, but can it actually happen? Can we tap into some phenomenon in nature that will allow us to teleport at will?

We already have television, we can see through space and time. But what about teleportation, can we move through space and time?

Teleportation appears to be mentioned in The Bible and The Quran. For example:

1. Philip was teleported after he baptized the Ethiopian  (Acts 8:26-40, NIV)
2. Jesus appeared to his disciples, excluding Thomas (John 20:19-20, NIV)
3. Jesus appeared to his disciples, including Thomas (John 20:26-27, NIV)
4. The Prophet Muhammad teleported from one mosque to another (Quran 17:1, Sahih)

I think I've experienced some teleportation phenomenon myself:

1. On a flight back from Israel, what should have been a 9 hour flight, felt like a 3 hour flight. We moved through space and time.
2. On a ferry ride one day, a ride that should have lasted over an hour, felt like only half an hour. Again, we moved through space and time.
3. I was at an event one time and when I got there, there were only a few people. Just before the event started, about 100 people showed up. Where did they all come from? Did they all teleport there? Materialize out of thin air? Sometimes it seems as though everyone around me is teleporting, I'm the only one who isn't. This makes me feel left out.

And then, there's time itself:

1. Sometimes it feels as though time slows down. You check the clock and it's 3:30pm, and what feels like an hour later, you check it again and it's only 3:31pm.
2. Sometimes it feels as though time speeds up. You check the clock and it's 3:30pm, and what feels like 5 minute later, you check it again and it's 5:00pm.

Is there something we're missing? Some phenomenon just outside our grasp? An understanding of space and time known only to Time Lord  Doctor Who? How can we be a part of this action?

Is teleportation possible?

From Being Oblivious To Becoming Active Participants

Today we're immersed in selfishness, seeking to benefit ourselves with no regard for others. As such, we're asleep, blind, oblivious to the forces that operate in nature, we've lost our sensitivity to the forces of nature.

Our internal qualities have to change from selfishness to bestowal and we have to seek to benefit others instead of ourselves. We have to wake up, open our eyes and see again. Then we'll become aware of the forces that operate in nature. While God manages everything, we'll become active participants, aware of our role in this integral system.

Attaining Godliness

If aliens from another planet came to Earth and observed our behaviour, what would they see?

We make houses, birds make houses. We store food, squirrels store food. We live in groups, animals live in groups. We behave like animals.

Yet, while animals take only what they need from nature, we take more than we need from nature. While animals generally kill for food, sometimes we kill for sport and entertainment.

While animals live in harmony and balance with nature, we're a disruptive force that harms ourselves, others and all of nature.

We think we're smart, but our behaviour says otherwise.

We have to change. Our internal qualities have to change from selfishness to bestowal. We have to seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

We have to connect with each other in mutual concern and responsibility and we have to become genuinely concerned for each other's welfare and well-being.

In this way we'll attain Godliness, a new level of connection and unity. Then we'll reach harmony and balance with each other, with all of nature and with God Himself.

Stay Calm

Change is a powerful force that can be disruptive and unpleasant to go through. It's important to stay calm.

Keep in mind that nature waits for no one. When it was time for the dinosaurs to disappear, they disappeared. Now it's time for the quality of selfishness to disappear, so it'll disappear.

Our internal qualities are going to change from selfishness to bestowal and we're going to seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

We're going to go through an internal transformation that will align us with the integral laws of nature. As we go through this process, stay calm and breathe.

Do not be afraid, God is with us.
