How can a divided government unite people?

How can a government that divides people, unite people?

Today, the world is made up of various forms of governments, but they're part of the problem because they divide people, instead of unite them:

1. Political Parties:
• Having various political parties to choose from gives people a sense of freedom of choice, but what it actually does is divide people into political parties. The government is divided into political parties and the people are divided into political affiliations.
• People who are divided, can't stand together.
• In bestowal (for others), we're united under one ideology - to benefit others and Nature instead of ourselves. (More specifically, to bring contentment to The Creator by seeking to benefiting others and all of Nature.)
2. Rich Rulers:
• In some cases, the people who rule are extremely wealthy, whereas the rest of the population is middle class or poor. This divides people into social economic classes, the governing class that is rich and the rest of the people who are middle class or poor.
• People who are divided, can't stand together.
• In bestowal (for others), the wealth gap between the rich and others disappears. The focus is on meeting our basic needs - food, water, clothing, shelter etc., ensuring that everyone has what they need.
3. Powerful Rulers:
• In some cases, the people who rule exert a tremendous amount of power, control and domination over the rest of the population. This divides people into power classes, those with power and those without.
• People who are divided, can't stand together.
• In bestowal (for others), everyone contributes their piece to the puzzle, to society, because everyone is seeking to benefit others and Nature. As such, everyone is valuable.
4. Rulers With Privileges:
• In some cases, the people who rule grant themselves certain rights and privileges that aren't available to the rest of the population. This divides people into classes, those with privileges and those without.
• People who are divided, can't stand together.
• In bestowal (for others), based on their role in society, people are granted the resources they need to benefit others and Nature. We're all different and we have different roles to play, but we're all equal.

The only solution is connection. We have to change from selfishness to bestowal. Instead of seeking to benefit ourselves, we should seek to benefit others and all of Nature.

When we seek to benefit other and Nature, we become blind to nationality, politics, religion, race, gender, social status, wealth etc.

Bestowal unites people in mutual responsibility, where everyone is seeking to do good to others and Nature, to benefit others and Nature in a positive and constructive way. Everyone is equal and eventually all become united as one.

Connection is the answer.

Are You A Good Or Bad Leader?

Are you a good or bad leader? You can assess yourself and decide.

In The Bible, kings were judged by the LORD based on their performance as leaders:

1. Bad Kings:
• Bad kings were kings who were immersed in personal selfishness, seeking to benefit themselves with no regard for others.
• Ahab was an example, as it is written, "Ahab son of Omri did more evil in the eyes of the LORD than any of those before him. (1 Kings 16:30, NIV)
2. Good Kings:
• Good kings were kings who were in the quality of bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of themselves.
• Hezekiah was an example, as it is written, "He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD ..." (2 Kings 18:3) and "Hezekiah trusted in the LORD, the God of Israel. There was no one like him among all the kings of Judah, either before him or after him." (2 Kings 18:5)

Leaders today have to ask themselves whether they're good or bad leaders, whether their behaviour and decisions come from the quality of selfishness or bestowal.

Everything is recorded for posterity and leaders should know that they're being judged, not only by their own employees, citizens and/or the world, but also, by God Himself.

Leaders have the tough job of making decisions, even when those decisions aren't popular, but they're the right thing to do.

Remember, we live in an integral system and the smallest positive and constructive action can have a huge impact, even beyond our own understanding.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

God Governs Everything

God governs everything. There is none else besides Him.
The hearts of kings and ministers are in the hands of The Creator.

If you want change, ask The Creator who governs everything.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
Do not be afraid. God is with us.

The Age Of The Priests

Question: Are you ushering in the age of the prophets? Because they tried that and it didn't work.

Answer: 

1. First, it's not that the age of the prophets didn't work, it was a part of the telling of the story of our relationship with God.
2. Second, this isn't the age of the prophets, it's the age of the priests:
• As it is written, "... you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation." (Exodus 19:6, NIV)
• And it is written, "But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation ..." (1 Peter2:9, NIV)
• And it is written, "... has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father ..." (Revelation 1:6, NIV)
• Even the king will be a priest:
• As it is written, "You are a priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek." (Psalm 110:4, NIV)
• Melchizedek means righteous king from the Hebrew words malki (king) and tzedek (righteous).

All Forms of Selfish Government Will Come To An End

Today, we're all immersed in the quality of selfishness, seeking to benefit ourselves with no regard for others. This means that ALL systems of government that exist today have been built on the quality of selfishness.

Every government that's dictatorial, oppressive, power-oriented, and/or selfishly run by a small group of people or families, will fall. In front of God, we're all equal. We're different, we have different roles to play, but we're all equal. No one is greater than or more important than the other. The selfish governments of this world will soon come to an end.

People want to be free - free from their own selfish, oppressive and harmful ego, and free from other people's selfish, oppressive and harmful ego.

Freedom isn't about being free of government, it's about being free of the oppressive governments of this world. It's about finding freedom in the government of the next world, The kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is still a government, but it's governed by the qualities of love, bestowal and equality.

Some people think that separating from others is the answer, for example, what's happening in the Ukraine [1], what happened in The United Kingdom with the Scottish independence referendum [2] etc.

Separation isn't the answer. Our ego will continue to grow and we'll find new ways to hate each other. We'll hate each other so much that each person will want his/her own country. There are ~7 billion of us, they'll be 7 billion countries - and we'll all be miserable.

The only solution is connection. Connection makes us happy and it leads to efficiencies in economies of scale [3] and scope [4]. When resources are shared (police, hospitals, schools etc.), it's a lot cheaper and its better for the environment and all of Nature.

We have to change from personal selfishness (seeking to benefit ourselves) to mutual bestowal (seeking to benefit others). We have to rise above our egos, stop harming others and seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

When we connect in mutual bestowal, all forms of selfish government will end, and we'll reach harmony and balance with each other and with all of Nature.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

May The God of Israel, The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob guide us, may He lead us and may He show us the way.

Stay calm and do not be afraid.
God is with us.

A Selfish Chinese Government Censors Information

The Chinese government has censored information [1] about the Hong Kong Protests [2] from reaching people in mainland China. They've done this, not because it's in the best interest of the Chinese people, but because it's in the best interest of the Chinese government. The Chinese government is selfishly seeking to retain its own power.

When you see protesters in Hong Kong, you're looking at people who want to be free - free from the oppression of a selfish government.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

The Gettysburg Address

On Thursday, November 19, 1863, the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln gave a speech in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The speech is now famously known as The Gettysburg Address [1].

I'll explain the last sentence of the speech, which reads, " ... this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom - and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

1. this nation:
• Nation means people who are united in a common goal, for example, people who are united in mutual bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of themselves.
2. under God:
• The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
3. shall have a new birth of freedom:
• Shall be born into the quality of bestowal and be free of the quality of selfishness.
4. and that government of the people, by the people, and for the people:
• We'll be connected in mutual bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves. In this way, our entire society will be governed by each and every one of us, we'll be connected in mutual bestowal, engaging in actions that benefit others, for the benefit of others.
5. shall not perish from the earth:
• We'll establish a new society based on mutual bestowal and that society shall remain forever.

Today we're immersed in selfishness, seeking to benefit ourselves. We need to change from personal selfishness to mutual bestowal. In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Love Revolution

Today, we're all immersed in selfishness, seeking to benefit ourselves with no regard for others. As a result, we harm ourselves, others and all of nature.

Our internal qualities are going to change from selfishness to bestowal, we're going to seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

This is a love revolution. The old systems (that we built with our quality of selfishness) will disappear and new systems (that we'll build with our quality of bestowal) will appear.

Do not be afraid, God is with us.

It's About Governance, But It's Not About Politics

Our internal qualities are going to change from selfishness to bestowal. We're going to seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

As such our governance is going to change. Instead of being governed by the kingdom of this world, we're going to be governed by the kingdom of heaven, The Kingdom of God.

Politics exists within the kingdom of this world. Since we're going to leave the kingdom of this world behind, politics will cease to exist.

Instead, we're going to live in The Kingdom of God and we'll become "a kingdom of priests and a holy nation" (Exodus 19:6, NKJV).

Absolute Transparency Is Required

One of the ways to build trust in society is to be absolutely transparent. This is vital to creating a sense of harmony and unity between people and in society as a whole.

When decisions (that affect everybody) are made behind closed doors, people feel disconnected from the decision makers and from the decisions that are being made.

Two things are required:

Live Broadcasts

First, all government decisions and/or leadership decisions have to be broadcast live on television and/or streamed live on the internet, always.

Everyone has to be able to hear/see the issues, the debates, the arguments for and against, the priorities and how they're set and the decisions and how they're made.

Everyone Can Participate

Second, mechanisms have to be put in place to allow everyone to participate in the decision making process.

For example, today people can vote on reality shows for their favourite contestants. This technology, or something similar, could be used.

In this way, people will be able to vote and/or submit comments on issues that affect society. We'll all be a part of the decision making process.

This inclusion will incorporate 'the wisdom of the crowds', where the many are smarter than the few and decisions made by the many are better than decisions made by the few. As a result, we'll have better decisions.

Benefits

When people feel included in the decision making process, they're more likely to accept the final results even if the results are against their personal preferences. 

This will happen because people will have witnessed the debates, they'll have seen the arguments for and against and they'll have been given a chance to vote. They'll have been totally included in the entire decision making process.

This inclusion will result in better decisions, it will create harmony between people and in society as a whole, and the resentment some people feel towards leaders will be reduced, perhaps even eliminated.
