Being Interconnected In Mutual Concern And Consideration

What does it mean to be interconnected in mutual concern and consideration? Let's take a look:
  1. John Seeks To Benefit Mary:
    • John adopts Mary's desires as his own and spends all his time, energy and effort seeking to benefit her.
    • John rises above his ego and stops being immersed in his own desires. Instead, he becomes immersed in Mary's desires.
    • John stops being immersed in selfishness and he becomes immersed in bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of himself.
    • While physically he's still John, he lives in Mary's desires, so he's Mary. In this way, John becomes interconnected with Mary.
  2. Mary Seeks To Benefit John:
    • Mary adopts John's desires as her own and spends all her time, energy and effort seeking to benefit him.
    • Mary rises above her ego and stops being immersed in her own desires. Instead, she becomes immersed in John's desires.
    • Mary stops being immersed in selfishness and she becomes immersed in bestowal, seeking to benefit others instead of herself.
    • While physically she's still Mary, she lives in John's desires, so she's John. In this way, Mary becomes interconnected with John.
Mary and John become interconnected with each other in mutual concern and consideration. In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

It's not about making others happy because there are many destructive things that make people 'happy'. It's about doing good to others, benefiting them in a positive and constructive way.

A Hero Always Faces A Nemesis

A hero always faces a nemesis/villain:
  • Adam and Eve faced the serpent
  • Moses faced Pharaoh
  • King David faced Goliath
  • Muhammad faced the leaders of the Quraysh
  • The First Jesus faced the Pharisees and the Sadducees
  • The Second Jesus will face the anti-christ
  • The One will face the anti-one
Keep in mind that all of these people are states/qualities within us:
  • The nemesis/villain - is our growing ego, selfishness.
  • The hero - is a desire that wants to overcome the ego (nemesis/villain), to change from selfishness to bestowal - from seeking to benefit oneself to seeking to benefit others and Nature, to change from personal selfishness to mutual bestowal.
The ego (nemesis/villain) serves a purpose in that by overcoming that state, one draws closer to The Creator.

Do not be afraid. God is with us.

One Million Dollars And The Loss Of Wealth

Is one million dollars a lot of money? It depends:
  • If you have $1 billion and end up with $1 million, then no, it's not a lot of money.
  • If you have $2 million and end up with $1 million, then no, it's not a lot of money.
  • If you have $10,000 and end up with $1 million, then yes, it's a lot of money.
When it comes to the loss of wealth, who suffers the most, who's the most affected? The rich. Even though they end up with $1 million, they experienced a greater sense of loss.

This sense of loss happens because we define ourselves by our money and material possessions. The more we have, the greater we think we are.

Also, we're emotionally attached to our money and material possessions, so when we lose them, we feel hurt, upset and distraught.

Yet we're not our money or material possessions and our emotional attachment to them is misplaced. Money and material possessions should not define who we are.

The loss of wealth can be a hard thing to accept. When it happens, stay calm and focus on meeting your basic needs - food, water, clothing, shelter and healthcare.

The loss of wealth is not the end of the world. It's only money, so don't worry about it. Let it go. Suicide is never an option. Don't ever kill yourself. Never! Don't ever kill yourself over the loss of wealth. Never! 

With respect to wealth, ask yourself, what's the worst thing that can happen? You lose all your wealth. So what? Does that mean you lose yourself? No. It means you find a new simple way to live.

Remember, we're all in this together. Do not be afraid. God is with us.

Dear Hikikomori of Japan,

I know what it feels like to want to run away from the world. The world can sometimes seem cruel and uncaring.

Our societies are built on individual achievement and competition, instead of on cooperation, collaboration and connection with others.

We focus on individual profit and gain, instead of on the connection between human beings. We're under pressure to win, even if it means someone else has to lose.

The underlying issue is that we're all immersed in selfishness, seeking to benefit ourselves with no regard for others. As such, we've created societies that are rooted in selfishness.

The quality of selfishness has left us all feeling helpless, stressed, unfulfilled and disconnected from others. As a result, we feel isolated, alone and unhappy.

Our internal qualities have to change from selfishness to bestowal. We have to rise above our egos and seek to benefit others instead of ourselves. If we all did this, we'd become connected with each other in mutual concern and consideration.

We have to build societies that are rooted in bestowal, societies that are focused on doing good to others. We can all be heroes because we can build it together.

No one is ever alone because we're all in this together. Know that I am with you. Know that you are loved.

May The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob guide you, may He lead you and may He show you the way.

God is with us and to Him we shall all return.

Love Exists In The Connection Between Us

Love is when you do something nice for someone. When you rise above your ego for the sake of others. When you do something to benefit others. In this way, you give your love to others and they receive love from you.

Love is when someone does something nice for you. When they rise above their ego for your sake. When they do something to benefit you. In this way, they give you love and you receive love from them.

Love exists in the connection between us.

The Frequency Of Connection

When you're in a selfish state, seeking to benefit yourself, you operate at a certain frequency (let's say -10 to 0). As such, you reveal phenomenon at that frequency. You discover this world.

When you're in an altruistic state, seeking to benefit others, you operate at another frequency (let's say 1 to 10). As such, you reveal phenomenon at that frequency. You discover the upper world.

War And Separation

War comes from the quality of selfishness. It is the realization of hatred, our hatred revealed. It is a state when we let our egos feast on hatred.

We have nothing to gain from war and separation, it only serves to calm down and pacify our hatred.

We have everything to gain from connection. Different people and different groups of people have different resources, skills, abilities, talents etc. If we connect, we all gain.

Understanding Infinity

This post is a work in progress and is subject to changes, revisions, edits and deletions. I've presented it here to give you an idea of a general concept; however, I'm not sure I've done a very good job explaining it. Please bear with me as I continue to work through this.

Infinity is about connection:
  1. We start off with a single point
  2. Points connect to form lines
  3. Lines connect to form 2-D planes
  4. 2-D planes connect to form 3-D objects such as a person
  5. A person connects through various points in time to create an individual timeline
  6. A person connects through infinite timelines
  7. All people and all things connect through infinite timelines
  8. Our universe connects with another universe through a singular connection
  9. Our universe connects with another universe through infinite connections
  10. All universes connect with each other through infinite connections
  11. Our creation connects with another creation through a singular connection
  12. Our creation connects with another creation through infinite connections, and
  13. All creations connect with each other through infinite connections.
Infinity can be expressed through fractals [1]. Note that the scale grows exponentially with each new dimension.

The First Jesus, The Second Jesus And The One

I've presented it here to give you an idea of a general concept; however, I'm not sure I've done a very good job explaining it. Please bear with me as I continue to work through this. One example is that I don't know how the Book Of Revelation is interconnected.

The First Jesus is exactly the same as The Second Jesus, yet they are different. The First Jesus is Jesus Himself, whereas The Second Jesus is a part of The One.

Through fractals [1] we can understand the connection between The Old Testament, The First Jesus, The Second Jesus, The New Testament, The Quran and The One:

  • "I am the Alpha and the Omega ... who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." (Revelation 1:8, NIV)
  • "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8, NIV)
  • We can also understand the reference to Adam:

Let's take a look at the differences and similarities between The First Jesus and The Second Jesus:
  1. FROM WHERE:
    • The First Jesus: Is from Israel.
    • The Second Jesus: Is from the Nations of The World.
  2. FOR WHO:
    • The First Jesus: Is for The Nation of Israel. Jesus said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." (Matthew 15:24, NIV)
    • The Second Jesus: The Second Jesus is also for Israel, but is a part of The One, who is for the entire world. ""... they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the LORD."(Jeremiah 31:34, NIV)
  3. GENDER:
    • The First Jesus: The person is male.
    • The Second Jesus: The person is female because The Second Jesus is a part of The One who is female.
  4. SCRIPTURE:
    • The First Jesus: The Gospel writes about The First Jesus. 
    • The Second Jesus: The Quran writes about The Second Jesus.
  5. FRACTAL[1]:
    • The First Jesus: The First Jesus is a fractal of The Old Testament. "In the beginning was The Word ..." (John 1:1, NIV) "The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us." (John 1:14, NIVJesus said, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. (Matthew 5:17, NIV)
    • The Second Jesus: The Second Jesus is a fractal of The Old Testament. "O Mary, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary ..." (Quran 3:45, Sahih"Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." (Quran 61:6, Sahih)
    • The One: The One is a fractal of The Old Testament, The New Testament and The Quran.
  6. TITLE:
    • The First Jesus: Refers to himself as The Son of Man. "From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven." (Matthew 26:64, NIV)
    • The Second Jesus: The Second Jesus is a part of The One, a state within The One. As such, he refers to himself as a prophet. "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah. He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet." (Quran 19:30, Sahih) The Quran makes no distinction between any of the prophets. (Quran 3:84, Sahih) Also, it is written, "The LORD used a prophet to bring Israel up from Egypt, by a prophet he cared for him." (Hosea 12:13, NIV)
    • Initially, it seems like a contradiction that The Quran says that Jesus was a prophet while the Bible doesn't, but now we can understand this discrepancy.
  7. CRUCIFIXTION:
    • The First Jesus: Was crucified. (Matthew 27:32-44, NIV)
    • The Second Jesus: Will not be crucified, but will probably have the stigmata to make it look like she was. "... they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them." (Quran 4:157, Sahih)
    • Initially, it seems like a contradiction that The Bible says Jesus was crucified while The Quran says he wasn't, but now we can understand how both are true.
  8. EAST AND WEST:
    • The First Jesus: Of his return, Jesus said, "For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. (Matthew 24:27, NIV)
    • The Second Jesus: Will likely make a journey from east to west. "And to Allah belongs the east and the west. So wherever you [might] turn, there is the Face of Allah." (Quran 2:115, Sahih)
  9. DOES GOD HAVE A SON?
    • The First Jesus: Is often referred to as the Son of God. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16, NIV) This verse is layered in meaning. One meaning is that it is a state of attainment that is considered childhood, therefore God has a son. Also, based on perception of reality, you perceive that you're young in the quality of bestowal.
    • The Second Jesus: The Quran says that "Allah has not taken any son ..." (Quran 23:91, Sahih) This verse is layered in meaning. One meaning is that The One is not a son because she's female. Also, while the Quran says that Jesus is the son of Mary, this is an internal state within The One. Even the adult state of attainment starts off as a little child and eventually grows to adulthood, " ... a little child will lead them." (Isaiah 11:6, NIV) Therefore God doesn't have a son or any children because these states of attainment have grown up, they're in complete adhesion with The Creator. Also, based on perception of reality, you perceive that you were always in bestowal.
    • Initially, it seems like a contradiction that Jesus is often referred to as The Son of God while The Quran says that God doesn't have a son, but now we can understand how both are true.
  10. TRINITY:
    • The First Jesus: Jesus said, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit ..." (Matthew 28:19, NIV). This is a state of attainment where a person is still growing, developing.
    • The Second Jesus: It is written, "And do not say, "Three"; desist - it is better for you. Indeed, Allah is but one God. Exalted is He above having a son." (Quran 4:171, Sahih) This is a state of attainment where a person is in complete adhesion with The Creator.
    • Initially, it seems like a contradiction that The Bible speaks of three, while The Quran tells us not to speak of three, but now we can understand how both are true.
Here are some questions about the Torah, the Writings and the Prophets:
  1. Is there language in the Torah, the Writings and the Prophets that speaks about both The First Jesus and The Second Jesus?
  2. Is there language in the Torah, the Writings and the Prophets that speaks only about The First Jesus?
  3. Is there language in the Torah, the Writings and the Prophets that speaks only about The Second Jesus?
  4. Is there language in the Torah, the Writings and the Prophets that speaks about The One?

Inside The Mind Of A Prophet

Let's say God decrees judgement against a people and He sends His prophet to tell them. The prophet scrutinizes the situation is two ways:
  1. He Wants The Judgement To Take Place:
    • First, he agrees with the judgement and he justifies The Creator's decision.
    • Second, if the judgement takes place, it validates God's existence.
    • Third, if the judgment takes place, it validates him as a prophet of God.
    • In this way, a prophet wants to be right.
  2. He Doesn't Want The Judgement To Take Place:
    • He defends the people and he is protective of them. He wants no harm to come to them. He relates to them as a mother to her baby.
    • He negotiates with The Creator for mercy, seeking another solution.
    • He doesn't care about validating God in this way. God can be validated in other ways. 
    • He doesn't care about validating himself as a prophet in this way. He can be validated as a prophet in other ways.
The prophet also undergoes other scrutinies and discernments.

God's Names Have To Be Put Back Into The Bible

God has many names [1][2], such as Elohim, YHVH, Shaddai etc. Most versions of The Bible have replaced God's actual names with titles such as God, GOD, Lord, LORD, Almighty etc.
  1. God is often used instead of Elohim
  2. GOD is also sometimes used 
  3. Lord is often used instead of Adonai
  4. LORD is often used instead of YHVH (The Tetragrammaton), also Yahweh
  5. LORD Almighty is often used instead of YHVH Shaddai
  6. And other replacements
The different versions of The Bible explain this replacement in their forewords or in footnotes. This is confusing. Even more confusing is that different versions of The Bible use titles differently.

How would you like to be called by a title such as Mr. Gentleman or Mrs. Lady instead of by your actual name such as David Smith or Mary Jackson.

God has actual names and we should use His actual names. God's actual names have to be put back into The Bible.

The Names of God Bible [3] is a version of The Bible that has put God's actual names back into The Bible. All versions of The Bible should do the same. Not only will this honor God, but it will also makes it easier for us to understand The Bible.

Similar And Different At The Same Time

How can you be similar and different at the same time? Let's take a look:

Used purely as an example, let's say Christians believe they're on the right path and everyone else is misguided, while Muslims believe they're on the right path and everyone else is misguided.

Christians and Muslims are similar in that they both believe they're on the right path. They're different in what they believe.

Let's say you have numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, but the numbers don't understand their connection, they're disconnected from each other.

The 2's believe they're right, and that the others are misguided. The 3's believe they're right, and that the others are misguided.

The 2's and 3's are similar in that they both think they're right. They're different in that one is a 2 and the other is a 3.

We understand that the 2's and 3's make up a connection of numbers that runs from 1 to 10. They're both right. There is no wrong. It's simply a matter of understanding the connection.

What Are You Ready To Die For?

Some people are ready to die for their country, a cause, their honour, a worldly relationship etc. You may think this is noble, but it's rooted in the quality of selfishness.

The only thing worth dying for is love, true love that is. Jesus said, "Greater love has no one that this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." (John 15:13, NIV)

I'm not talking about a biological death or the death of the physical body. I'm talking about the death of our internal quality of selfishness.

Are you willing to give up your selfish ways to benefit your friend instead? Are you willing to let your selfish nature die, so you can connect with others in mutual concern and consideration, seeking to benefit others instead of yourself?

Some people want to die to run away from their problems, but your problems are there to bring you to bestowal. Don't kill yourself, instead, cry out to The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Ask Him to help you and He will. Ask Him to change your internal qualities from selfishness to bestowal, and He will.

Do not be afraid. God is with us.

It's Good To Be Bald

Being bald tends to be seen as a negative thing, and people spend lots of money trying not to be bald. There's nothing wrong with being bald. In fact, being bald is a good thing.

"A man who has lost his hair and is bald is clean." (Leviticus 13:40, NIV) Meaning he's in bestowal.

The Truth

Nobody has to convince you of The Truth, or convert you to The Truth. The Truth will resonate within you, you'll sense it within you and you'll know it when you hear it. 

Deep down inside, it will sound vaguely familiar, as though you've heard it before, as though you're now remembering. It won't be new, it will be familiar. It will feel instinctual, natural and effortless.

When you hear The Truth, you'll KNOW it within you to be true.

Feeling Good When Others Don't Have

If you have $10 and another person has $10, you don't feel special.
If you have $10 billion and another person has $10 billion, you don't feel special.

But if you have $10 and another person has $1, then you feel good. Ahh!
If you have $10 billion and another person has $1 million, then you feel good.

It's not THAT you have that makes you feel good, it's that another person doesn't have that makes you feel good. This is the quality of selfishness:
         - You want to feel greater than others,
         - You want others to think that you're greater than them,
         - You want others to envy you, to want what you have,
         - Or worse, you enjoy that others suffer while you don't.

Instead of feeling good when others don't have, in everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Children Share But Adults Don't

We encourage children to share. If little Johnny was ambitious and hoarded all the toys, while little Annie had none, we'd ask little Johnny to share his toys with little Annie. We expect this behaviour of children.

But when it comes to adults, we praise ambition and money hoarding. If big John was ambitious and hoarded all the money, while big Anne had none, we'd tell big Anne to work harder and make her own way.

Why is there a discrepancy between what we expect of children and what we expect of adults? In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

Your Body Is A Biological Machine

The human body is meant to operate at an optimal level. It's important to find the right balance to be happy and healthy.

Your body is a biological machine. It needs to be maintained regularly to operate effectively. Your body also has weight limits, too much weight and it will malfunction, too little weight and it will also malfunction. You have to find the right balance somewhere in the middle.

We understand that mechanical machines such as cars and planes need to be maintained regularly to operate effectively. They also have weight limits, too much weight and they also malfunction.

In the same way we look after mechanical machines is the same way we need to look after our biological machines. We need to prioritize the care of our bodies as much as we do any other machines.

Salvation Is From The Jews

In our relationship with The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, The Nation of Israel and the Jewish people play a specific role.

Jesus Himself said, "... salvation is from the Jews." (John 4:22, NIV)  Don't hate the Jews, demand that they return to God and engage in their spiritual work, so they can bring you The Light.

Living with partners
Comes at a price
They think it's fun

You're Looking At A Mirror

The world you see, is a mirror of your internal qualities. What you see is actually a reflection of yourself. This is known as The Mirror Effect.

When you seek to benefit others, you're actually seeking to benefiting yourself. When you hate/harm others, you're actually hating/harming yourself.

Even The Rich Are Poor

A poor person who earns $10,000 a year, needs an extra $1,000 to pay the bills.
A rich person who earns $10,000,000 a year, needs an extra $1,000,000 to pay the bills.

Who needs more money? The rich person. Who feels more poor? The rich person, because their unnecessarily lavish lifestyle costs more to maintain.

The Meaning Of Our Lives

Have you ever wondered, "What's the meaning of my life? What do I live for? Why am I here?" This question has left many people in despair because no one has found the answer.

The answer is really simple. We're here to connect with each other.

The reason we feel despair is because we're not connected. We're immersed in selfishness, seeking to benefit ourselves with no regard for others. This has left us isolated, alone and unhappy.

True happiness comes from connection. We have to connect with each other in mutual concern and consideration, seeking to benefit others instead of ourselves.

This is the answer to the meaning of our lives. This is the purpose of creation.

Dear Ukrainians,

You have your difference. We all have our differences. Your solution won't come through war, bloodshed or conflict. Your only solution is connection.

Instead of seeking to benefit yourselves at the expense of your neighbour, seek to benefit your neighbour instead. Think of others instead of yourselves.

Rise above your egos and hatred and connect with each other in mutual concern and consideration.

We are all brothers and sisters, each and every one of us. While we may have our differences, we are still all one family, and healthy families remain united in spite of their differences.

Your only solution is connection.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.

May The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob guide you, may He lead you and may He show you the way.

God is with us and to Him we shall all return.

It's Time To Stop Running

It's time to stop running from ourselves. We do everything we can to distract ourselves from our emptiness and lack of fulfillment. We fill our days so there's not a single moment where we have to face our emptiness. We even resort to drugs and alcohol to escape ourselves.

It's time to stop running. It's time to face our emptiness and lack of fulfillment. Ask The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to fill your emptiness, and He will. Ask God to show you the true meaning of your life, and He will.

The irony is that you're called Jehovah's Witnesses, yet you've failed to acknowledge Jehovah when She's been standing right in front of you.

How Can Many Be One?

How can many be one? How can things that are identical also be different? The answer comes from understanding patterns that repeat themselves, also known as fractals [1].

Imagine that you're at a movie theater with seats lined up in rows:

             Row 5:    1    2    3    4    5    6    7    8    9    10
             Row 4:    1    2    3    4    5    6    7    8    9    10
             Row 3:    1    2    3    4    5    6    7    8    9    10
             Row 2:    1    2    3    4    5    6    7    8    9    10
             Row 1:    1    2    3    4    5    6    7    8    9    10

All seats numbered 7 are identical because they're all seat 7, but they're different because they're in different rows. So things that are identical can also be different.

Another way to say it is that all seats numbered 7 are exactly the same, they're all one seat 7. But there are many seat 7's. So one can be many, and many can be one.

Let's say you wanted to identify a specific seat, you could say Row 3 - Seat 7, so everyone would know exactly which seat 7 you're referring to. Or you could name each seat 7 a different name:

             Row 4:    1    2    3    4    5    6    Pam    8    9    10
             Row 3:    1    2    3    4    5    6    Tim     8    9    10

Tim is Seat 7, specifically, he's Seat 7 in Row 3. Now Ron, Pam, Tim, Sue and Sam are all seat 7's - so they're all identical, they're all one - yet they're different because they're in different rows.

What does it mean to connect with others? It means you have to 'feel' others, be in their desires, sense them, become them - then seek to benefit them instead of yourself.

Love God And Love Others

When it comes to love, it's really simple: love God and love others.

As it is written in Matthew 22:36-40, NIV:

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 
37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God 
with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 
38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

A Conversation With Yourself

Here's an example of thoughts that may arise in you - thoughts that are for connection and thoughts that are against connection.

Here's the context:
You're walking down the street and a man, distracted on his cell phone, rudely bumps into you. Then he tells you off and asks you to watch where you're going. When he leaves, you notice that he's dropped his wallet. 

Thoughts Against Connection                                Thoughts For Connection
"What the ... "                                                        "I hope he didn't hurt himself."
"He can't' talk to me that way."                              "I hope he's okay."
"Who does he think he is?"                                      "He's probably really busy."
"It was his fault."                                                     "I've been there, rushed and stressed."
"He deserves to lose his wallet."                             "I've got to give him his wallet."
"I hope he loses his phone too."                              "Stop him, run after him."
"Let him go."                                                            "He needs his wallet."

Everyday, we're faced with opportunities to connect with others, to benefit others instead of ourselves. Sometimes the opportunities are really obvious, other times less so.

In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves, regardless of the context and regardless of how they treat us.

What does it mean to love? If you love yourself, this is self-love, selfishness. True love is about others, someone else besides you, someone else outside of you.

How do you demonstrate your love to others? Giving is a sign of love. Giving, without expecting anything in return, is a sign of true love.

What Does Righteousness Mean To You?

We all have preconceived ideas about what a holy person - a righteous person - should look like, what they should do, how they should act, how they should behave.

Is this your idea of holiness?
  1. Isaiah was told to walk around naked and barefoot for three years (Isaiah 20:2-4, NIV)
  2. Jeremiah was told to wear a yoke around his neck (Jeremiah 27:2, NIV)
  3. Ezekiel was asked to cook bread using human feces for fuel, he negotiated to use cow dung instead (Ezekiel 4:12-15, NIV)
  4. Daniel was put in a lion's den (Daniel 6:16, NIV)
  5. Hosea was asked to marry a prostitute, Gomer (Hosea 1:2-3, NIV)
  6. Jonah ran away from God and spent three days and three nights in the belly of a fish (Jonah 1, NIV)
  7. Jesus Christ was crucified (John 19:16-30, NIV)
  8. Muhammad was a man of war [1]
All these events tell the story of our relationship with God. God's ways are not our ways and God's understanding is not our understanding.

Our preconceived ideas about holiness, may not hold true.
