- SELFISH HEARTS:
- If we have selfish hearts, we build selfish systems, which is where we are today
- If we have selfish hearts, but we try to build altruistic systems, they won't work because they're rooted in selfishness
- ALTRUISTIC HEARTS:
- If we have altruistic hearts, we won't build selfish systems because it won't be in our nature to do so
- If we have altruistic hearts, we'll build altruistic systems
Our internal qualities have to change from selfishness to bestowal. We have to seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
When our internal qualities change from selfishness to bestowal, our behaviour will also change, which means that anything we build, will come from our altruistic nature.
If our internal qualities don't change, and we remain immersed in selfishness, but we decide to build altruistic systems because they sound like a good idea, and we begin to enforce them with policies and procedures, they won't work. They'll fail. All of our efforts will be in vain.
It's not about building altruistic systems for the sake of building altruistic systems, it's about changing our very nature and returning to God in quality.
Of this Jesus said, "And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; or else the new wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins." (Mark 2:22, NKJV)

Meaning, our very nature has to change, our internal qualities have to change, we have to change. Then, and only then, can true altruistic systems be built.
[Today we're immersed in selfishness (old wineskins), and we sense pleasures with our five senses: sight, sound, smell, taste and touch (old wine). When we enter into the quality of bestowal (new wineskins), we'll sense new spiritual pleasures of Nefesh, Ruach, Neshama, Chaya and Yechida (new wine). The new wine goes into new wineskins, the new spiritual pleasures are sensed with new internal qualities of bestowal.]
When our internal qualities change from selfishness to bestowal, we'll connect with each other in mutual concern and responsibility, we'll reach harmony and balance with nature, and we'll connect to God in quality.
It is this contact with God that makes the difference because it is He who will govern the earth. It's not about what we'll build, it's about what God will build.
May The One True God, The Infinite God, The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob guide us, may He lead us and may He show us the way. God is with us and to Him we shall all return.
