Religion promises redemption, salvation, success in this life, and a place in the afterlife. Many religious organizations engage in endless rites, rituals and practices, customs that are supposed to have some sort of spiritual significance.
Yet after all the prayers, good deeds and other religious observations, believers are worn out, tired, despaired, empty and unfulfilled. Promises never fully materialize.
Religion is not the answer. Connection is. We have to connect with each other in mutual bestowal. In everything we do, we should seek to benefit others instead of ourselves.
